Investext Access

November 14, 2008

The INSEAD libraries have just been notified that our INVESTEXT vendor has lost its distributing contract.

This happened abruptly and we are aware of the inconvenience to our users.

Currently there is no other competitive product on the market but the Library is investigating alternative options for distribution and will keep you posted on the situation.

“Our” vendor has lost the investext distributing contract. Is there no other vendor with the distribution rights?

Albert, no there is no other distributor except for the actual publisher of Investext. We are in contact with them about this issue and we will keep everyone posted on any developments.

How about Thomson Financial or Thomson Research? They are equivalent to Investext.

Thanks Timothy. Yes Thomson is the vendor with whom we are in contact regarding access to Investext. They are actually the publisher of the database and offer access via their other platforms.

Hi there – do we have a new vendor now? Is it accessible now?
