Google Book Search: a disaster for scholars?

Geoffrey Nunberg, a linguist, and adjunct full professor at the School of Information at the University of California at Berkeley lists numerous mistakes found in the indexing (or metadata) of Google Book Search in this Chronicle of Higher Education article. The author points out some odd finds:

Stephen King’s Christine written in 1899
An edition of Moby Dick is labeled in the Computers category etc..
