Oxford Journals is a division of Oxford University Press, which has been publishing journals for more than a century, and as part of the world’s oldest and largest university press, have more than 500 years of publishing expertise behind them.

As a major international publisher of academic and research journals, Oxford Journals publishes and develops titles in partnership with the world’s most prestigious learned societies.

An integral part of their scholarly mission is to publish journals of the highest quality, which is demonstrated by their impact factor rankings. According to the 2009 Journal Citation Reports, over one quarter of OUP titles are in the top 10% and approximately three quarters in the top 50% of their subject category.
